Fritidskortet in English
Fritidskortet is a national financial support that aims to give children and young people aged 7–16 the opportunity to take part in leisure activities such as culture, sports, and outdoor life.
Last application date is 15th March 2026
You can use Fritidskortet to pay for activities at Kulturskolan — but the payment must be made through Kulturskolan's Student portal: Speedadminplay so that we can confirm who has paid.
All children aged 7–16 receive 550 SEK per year.
Children from households that received housing benefits last year may receive 2,500 SEK
The service will be open until 15th March 2026 after which it will close for the Spring term and open again in the Autumn 2026.

Paying with Fritidskortet
- Log on to Kulturskolans Student portal Speedadminplay as a guardian (using BankID).
- Click "Ansök om Fritidskort".
- Select your child and confirm your application.
- You will be redirected to Fritidskortet's website — log in again with BankID.
- Choose your child's name (must be registered at your address).
- Apply for the card and sign with BankID.
- Once approved, select "Betala för fritidsaktivitet".
- Enter the amount you wish to use for the term fee from Kulturskolan.
- Choose "aktivitet: Kultur", and sign again with BankID.
- Done! If successful, the status will show "Ansökan beviljad".
- Check that the transfer worked by logging on to Kulturskolan's Student Portal Speedadminplay again. There you should see the amount of money that has been granted.
- If Fritidskortet doesn’t cover the full fee, you will receive an invoice for the remaining amount in March/April 2026.
Troubleshooting
- I can’t log onto the student portal.
Email us at kulturskolan@varnamo.se . If both guardians share custody, try logging in as the other guardian. If that works, they can select "Lägg till vårdnadshavare" to give you access. - I can’t log onto the Fritidskortet website.
Contact Fritidskortet's own support team for help. You can find more information on the page contact us - I have payed with Fritidskortet, but I'm not sure it worked, how can I check?

Only the listed guardian in Speedadminplay can apply. Email us at kulturskolan@varnamo.se and we can update the guardian's information. - Can I pay directly on the Fritidskortet website?
No. Payments must be made through Kulturskolan's student portal so that we can verify the payer.

My child has protected registration (skyddad folkbokföring). What should I do?
You cannot use the digital service but you can apply via a paper form. You must be the guardian in the household where the child is officially registered. Contact kulturskolan@varnamo.se to get the correct OCR number for the form.
We’re separated — who can use Fritidskortet?
Only the guardian in the household where the child is officially registered can use the Fritidskort.
Organisation behind the Leisure Activity Card
The Fritidskortet is a national government initiative, not a municipal service. It is a joint mission involving Folkhälsomyndigheten, E-hälsomyndigheten, Försäkringskassan, MUCF and Kulturrådet, in cooperation with Riksidrottsförbundet, Svenskt Friluftsliv, and SKR.
